High Atlas
High Atlas is one of the most beautiful physical features in Morocco. Riding strong, streaking across the country from the South West to North east, the High Atlas is one of the greatest mountains of the world, the ideal place for hiking in Morocco. Sharp peaks, deep valleys, high plateau create a lovely landscape. It is an ideal place to relax away from the city and enjoy the picturesque scenary.

Anti-Atlas
Parallel to the Atlantic shores is the Anti-atlas agadir close to 2,000m which offers a stunning scenary and ruins of ancient granite landforms. The feature consists of massive piles of balls stacked, covered with original vegetation: Cactus, almond trees, Oleanders. The beautiful rock formation, incredible blue rocksand the agadir (castles) are a sight to behold.

Middle Atlas
The Middle Atlas displays a spectacularly beautiful range of mountains carpeted in green with cedar and Oak trees. the small town of Ifrane is used as a tourist destination in summer due to its mild temperatures. The forest skirts the the desolate highlands and barley crops adapt themselves perfectly to the nearby lakes. The Oleander form a guard of honour for the river Oumer rbia (commonly referred to as mother of springs) which joins with the 40 sources.

Whether you are a regular or occasional visitor, we help you live your dream of Trekking in the Moroccan Atlas on just a few tours.

You do not need to be a seasoned mountaineer to reach its summit, but it is a stiff, challenging hike and climb, and you will need stamina and strong walking or climbing boots. Your starting point is a two-hour drive away from Marrakech, and the ascent and descent can be achieved in just three days.

Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil – Shrine of Sidi Chamarouch – Jebel Toubkal Refuge.

Imlil at the foot of the mountain. There is a walk of about four kilometres along the Mizane Valley until you reach the quite large village of Aroumd, which boasts a handful of hotels and gites. Walking on upwards for about an hour-and-a-half, will bring you to a place of pilgrimage, the shrine of the marabout Sidi Chamarouch, then taking an eastward route you cross flood plains, and walk along mule tracks and up into the Isougouane Valley, for about five hours, until you reach the Toubkal Refuge (3,207m), where you will spend the night.

Day 2: South cirque – Jebel Toubkal Summit – Toubkal Refuge.

In the morning, you cross the stream above the refuge and take the route up the south cirque. When you reach the the summit you will have panoramic and unrestricted views in every direction: from the Marrakech Plain to the High Atlas in the North and as far south as the Anti-Atlas and the Sahara. You will also take the south cirque on your return, and spend another night at the Toubkal Refuge.
